We now offer at-home blood testing that can be performed easily in the convenience of your home. Just like testing blood sugar, a simple finger stick is required using the device that comes with each test kit. It's easy and painless.

At-home blood tests now available 


Track Your Plaque now offers home blood test kits that allow testing similar to that performed in any hospital or clinic laboratory--in the convenience of your own home. All it requires is a finger stick, similar to that performed to check blood sugars.

ZRT Laboratory performs all testing with results returned to you withn several days after you submit your blood spot samples. ZRT Laboratory has performed extensive testing to ensure accuracy and reliability.  

Test kits are offered at a discount price to our Members. Non-Members are invited to order as well.

(We have already begun discussion with ZRT about expanding their line of products to Lipoprotein testing as well. For the present, the Cardiometabolic Panel, while not a full lipoprotein test panel, offers a basic lipid testing package without HDL cholesterol, with several additional components.)



Easy step-by-step process

Once you place an order with us:

1. Track Your Plaque will ship a blood test kit to you.
2. Complete the enclosed form which is pre-printed with the tests you requested.
3. Follow the enclosed intructions to collect your blood sample. (It requires a virtually painless pin-prick using the spring-loaded lancet provided with the test kit.)
4. Ship the form and blood sample via UPS (postage is prepaid) in the return packaging provided to ZRT Laboratory - not Track Your Plaque.
5. ZRT Laboratory will process the sample and return the results directly to you by mail.



All blood tests use the easy blood spot testing technology 

Everything you need is included in each test kit, along with easy-to-follow instructions.

  




Important

California Residents: State law prohibits ZRT Laboratory from providing results to you without a doctor's order (or an order from an other healthcare provider licensed to prescribe in California). After receiving your test kit from Track Your Plaque, return your blood samples to ZRT Laboratory (in postage prepaid envelope provided) with a copy of the prescription or order from your healthcare provider. Results cannnot be returned to you without the copy of the order or prescription.

New York Residents: State law prohibits Track Your Plaque from sending home test kits and ZRT Laboratory from sending results to residents of the state of NY.
